Most of the pubs and cafes in city-centre have a wlan. Bar Mendocino and Cafe Aula Bar both offer a free wlan-service to all festival guests.
Eating out:
Most of the restaurants in the city center offer special lunchtime-offers in a range of 7-10,- €, including a starter salad or soup, water and a coffee or tea.
Drinkig:
Alcohol is expensive and Finnish beer is almost as bad as Swedish beer. Most pubs serve a decent German beer at a daylight robbery price... Water is usually free...
Speaking in tongues:
Almost everybody speaks English in Helsinki. Also Swedish and German are widely spoken.
